You won't remember every minute.
You'll remember how it felt.
That's exactly what I capture.

Every wedding has momentsthat almost disappear.Almost.

A glance that lasted half a second.A hand that reached without looking.Had I been anywhere else in the room —it would simply be gone.

I watch before I shoot.I wait before I press.

STILL · WATCHFUL · READY

Documentary in soul. Editorial in finish. Real moments. Honest images. Yours to keep forever.

Moments preserved

Before you knew.

"I don't make your wedding look beautiful. I find where it already is."

Most couples forget I'm there. Their photographs tell a different story.

I turn up. I pay attention. I don't get in the way.

From the moment I arrive I'm reading the room — the energy between people, the light, the quiet moments gathering before they happen. Every wedding has its own rhythm and I follow yours. Alert to everything. Reactive to nothing. The photographs happen because you forgot to perform for them.

Years of weddings. The instinct doesn't leave.

Photographs that feel like memories, not records.

The kind you'll show your children. And they'll show theirs.

The right fit matters. Let's find out if we are one.

Love Stories
from Past Clients

Alex, we're absolutely in love with the photos! What's amazing is that they don't just show us how we looked on our wedding day - they actually capture how everything felt. We're so glad we found you. Working with Alex was without a doubt our best investment. We can highly recommend him over and over again.

Questions & Answers

Everything worth knowing before you get in touch.

You'll barely know I'm there. That's intentional. I work quietly, move calmly, and read the room rather than direct it. By the end of the day, most couples say they forgot there was a photographer present — until the photographs arrive.

If you've read this far and something feels right, that's usually a good sign. I work best with people who want their day to feel like their own — who aren't looking to be directed and who trust the process. If that sounds like you, let's talk.

As soon as you can. I photograph a small number of weddings and sessions each year, and popular dates go early. If you have a date in mind — even a tentative one — it's worth a conversation sooner rather than later.

Always. Nothing is signed until we've spoken. I want to understand your day, you want to understand how I work. That conversation matters — for both of us. No pressure, no obligation.

There's no fixed number. I don't count frames — I look for moments. A full wedding day typically yields several hundred carefully edited images. Every one earns its place.

Glasgow-based and very willing to travel. Within 50 miles of Glasgow, travel is included. Further afield, we discuss expenses honestly — no surprises.

Yes — and some of the most honest work I do happens when it's just the two of you and a Scottish hillside. Glencoe, Isle of Skye, Loch Lomond, Rannoch Moor — wherever the day calls for. There's a dedicated elopement page with more information, or get in touch directly.

Good light exists in every situation — you just have to know where to find it. Some of my favourite photographs have come from overcast afternoons and unexpected downpours. I don't need perfect conditions. I need genuine moments.

In the unlikely event I'm unable to attend due to illness or emergency, I have a trusted network of photographers whose work I know well. I would never leave you without coverage. Your day is too important.

I'm not sure "different" is the right word. I'm simply very good at being in the right place at the right moment, without anyone noticing I got there. Years of weddings across Scotland, a documentary instinct, and a genuine love of what I do. The work reflects that.
